Blobina Animations was established in 2005 by Selina Wagner, a multi award winning animation director. Since that date Selina has created short films for the BBC; children’s games; directed short films; and devised over 40 TV commercials.

We're thrilled to reveal our very first successful Animatic candidates! Part of the #gff24 Industry Focus programme, Animatic is a major new industry initiative supporting Scotland-based creatives and studios in developing animation ideas for an international audience. 🌎

Our inaugural Animatic candidates are: Glasgow-based writer and performer Zoë Bullock; Edinburgh’s Sinead Kirwan; Orkney-born Selina Wagner; BAFTA-winning animator Will Adams and East Lothian-based writer and producer Paula Poveda-Urrutia.
