When I created my short animated film 'Spindrift',

When I created my short animated film 'Spindrift', the last thing I expected was for it to become the inspiration for a dish prepared by one of the top chefs in the UK!

And that's exactly what happened! Last week on BBC2's 'Great British Menu' Mark McCabe of The Ethicurean, prepared a fish dish based on the desolate beauty of the film.

Mark created a dish of white turnip ribbons and puree, sea vegetables, pickled samphire, caviar and Artic char and the judges were 'blown away by the atmospheric flavours and perfect cookery.'

I love how my creativity has inspired someone else's. My only regret is that I wish I could have tasted it!
