Bonnie’s Tale was created for Advocates for Animals, now called OneKind. The film was commissioned to highlight the plight of Scotland’s seal populations who were being slaughtered illegaly in many areas. The idea was to spread the word about what was happening to these beautiful animals and try to increase their protection.
The film was made over several months and was entirely hand drawn using TVP paint. It allowed me to create a film that looked like it had been done traditionally but with the time saving delights of digital! Effects were added in After Effects and the voice was done by Richard Briers.
